I hope what I write makes sense

I find a great deal of comfort in writing. Just like many other people, I imagine, it acts as a kind of snapshot capturing one’s emotions (or lack thereof) in a way that something more visual doesn’t always portray. Certainly not with my artistic ability, anyway. Of course, a picture can paint a thousand words but what if the words I paint aren’t ever the right ones?

One day, I’d quite like to explore different styles of expression. So far in life, I have been very fortunate in sharing precious experiences with incredibly talented artists and poets - all of whom have transformed the way I perceive and observe the world around me. And to them I am truly, eternally grateful.
